Back and Forward

The following popped up as a fb memory today.

The last sentence is the epitome of Donald Trump and his sycophantic supporters. Trying to gain freedom, or more specifically their idyllic freedom, through bitterness, hatred, and oppression is akin to quenching your thirst with salt water. You may feel momentary relief, but quickly find yourself thirsty for more. With each sip, your belly fills more. Your journey to satiate your thirst becomes more insurmountable. Death reaches out, and you take its hand.
